About
Julius is the Research and Editorial Assistant for the Obama Presidency Oral History. He reviews, summarizes and analyzes most interviews completed for the project, in addition to conducting interviews and background research, particularly in the areas of media relations, telecommunications, and transparency. Julius is also the Program and Communications Coordinator at INCITE. In this capacity, he oversees all of the center’s external communications, directs INCITE’s yearly Social Science Summer education program, coordinates the Columbia Center for Oral HIstory Research’s biennial summer institute, and provides support on various other projects.
Julius graduated from Columbia University in 2018 with a major in Sociology and a minor in African-American Studies. His senior thesis focused on the professional discourse of journalists in the Trump era.
