Ixchel Bosworth - Incite at Columbia University

Ixchel Bosworth is a PhD student and Paul F. Lazarsfeld Fellow in Sociology at Columbia University, where her research centers on neighborhoods, inequality, education and culture.

At Incite, Ixchel manages our program with the A'Lelia Bundles Community Scholars.

Before joining Columbia, Ixchel taught in public schools in the Bronx and Washington Heights. She is a recipient of the Columbia Provost Diversity Fellowship and a Reducing Inequality Network Scholar. Currently, her research explores inequality by focusing on neighborhood effects and public education within urban communities.
