Tynéa Henry is an undergraduate student who joined Incite in 2022 as a Special Projects Intern.
Currently, they provide support for Incite's oral history projects and communication activities. Tynéa's work includes curating ephemera and interviews for the Obama Presidency Oral History, Baldwin-Emerson Elders Project, and Movements Against Mass Incarceration oral history. Additionally, they copywrite for Incite projects.
Tynéa is currently a candidate for a BA in American Studies with a concentration in African American and African Diaspora studies from Columbia University. In the American Studies department, they are completing their thesis, "The Foundation of a Legal Sisterhood: How the Work of Constance Baker Motley and Pauli Murray Paved the Way for Black Women Lawyers," for consideration for departmental honors.
