Bringing together voices from Latin American politics, civil society, and the university for a fresh conversation on women and democracy.
On March 11, we're bringing together voices from Latin American politics, civil society, and the university for a fresh conversation on Women and Democracy in Latin America.
Across the Western Hemisphere, organizations and movements have emerged that are focused on issues facing women in the public square, themes like leadership development, representation in politics, and online violence. What do these initiatives signal about changes in the broader political landscape and the emergence of new political leadership? How do they interact with traditional political structures and forms of participation? What is the promise of this new wave of civic participation for democratic resilience across the region? Join us for a discussion which features reflections on these questions and others, drawn from experiences of leaders and experts on the region
