The first challenge of interpreting oral history is to discover truth and meaning among your collection of oral histories, which contains many different perspectives that may, at times, directly contradict one another. The next challenge is to speak with authority and to shape a narrative thread that presents a clear history for public audiences based on that collection. This workshop examines a few potential paths forward through these challenges.
