The faculty mentoring award is presented annually to two faculty of Columbia University to recognize excellence in mentoring PhD and MA students during their graduate careers.
The award was instituted in 2004, and is presented each May at the GSAS Convocation by the Arts and Sciences Graduate Council President. The award includes a plaque and $500 honorarium, which is funded equally by ASGC and GSAS.
In 2019, Amy Starecheski recieved this award.
