Maurice Ivy Dowell is the Project Coordinator at INCITE. He graduated from Duke University with a major in Literature (Critical Theory), a minor in Dance, and a certificate in Film in 2016. He works in New York as a professional dancer where he is an artist with Drigg Productions, The Orsano Project, VESSELS|Move, and DendyDonovan Projects. He was an apprentice at Nimbus Dance Works before joining the Seán Curran Company. Maurice joined the INCITE team in 2017 as a project consultant and joined the team full-time as a Project Coordinator in 2019.

Maurice currently coordinates the following projects: Atlantic Philanthropies Oral History, Charles V. Hamilton and Wilmot James Oral History, Lawrence Cremin Oral History, Avery Fisher Oral History, and the Paul Taylor Dance Company Oral History.
