Katy is a PhD student in the Sociology Department and a fellow at the Labor Lab. She studies labor and political economy, focusing on the emergence of bad jobs and how to make them better. Katy holds a B.S. with honors in Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University, where she was a Rawlings Presidential Scholar, and an M.A. in Sociology from Columbia University.
