Join us for a conversation with researchers and organizers around the prison industrial complex and the criminalization of women. Speakers include Dr. Sarah Haley (Professor of History at Columbia University and author of No Mercy Here: Gender, Punishment, and the Making of Jim Crow Modernity) and Rachel Herzing (Executive Director of the Center for Political Education, co-founder of Critical Resistance, and author of How to Abolish Prisons: Lessons from the Movement Against Prisons).
