Inspired by the talented community of artists and activists connected to Incite, we are developing the Mutual Aid for Artists and Activists Project (MAAAP!) — our effort to identify opportunities and needs for individuals connected to Incite’s work.
When we invite artists and activists to an event or into our work, we’re never looking for a one-and-done relationship. We don’t want to extract your talent, pay the minimum, and reap all the rewards; where possible we want our initial contact to be the start of mutual world-building together.
We recognize that within each artist and activist is a universe of creative goals and community engagement. The grind and hustle stifles creativity; through MAAAP!, we are expecting to make thinking, learning, and creating easier … and therefore more expressive of your intent!
