About
Neda Bolourchi, ABD, JD is a preceptor teaching Contemporary Civilization in the Core Curriculum at Columbia University. She is also a Fellow in the Department of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies, where she is at work on a dissertation concerning “speaking and acting religiously” in nationalistic terms in pre-revolutionary Iran. Her focus includes literatures of sacrifice, theories of political sovereignty and theology, modes of violence, techno-politics, and the role of narratives in history and historiography.
